essential information

i feel like as anyone who has born in the late 90's, i was introduced to the internet at a very young age. i created my first neopets account when i was 7, which was the first place i made virtual friends. through them, i discovered what ocs and shipping were, as it was pretty common to use neopets as ocs and engage in roleplaying with them. however, i believe this knowledge only solidified when i got into kpop, where everything is essentially designed for fan service... i was in #heaven.

although i enjoy listening to many groups, i'm someone who doesn't have that energy to fully support multiple people, so since 2018, nct has been my ult group and that probably will stay until i leave kpop – i feel like they will most likely be my last group within kpop, as i no longer have the paciency or the energy to be a fan as i used to be 11 years ago.

recently (november/25), i started liking sleep token, and it has been such a new and fun experience since it's completly different from liking kpop. at first it, it felt very strange not knowing anything about them, but now i realized that's almost the best part... they are just There As Entities (please don't share any unmasked stuff, as i clearly don't care and don't want to know!). but, as an obvious kpop stan, i do wish vessel had a bubble and sent me a message out of nowhere IODJFSDIOFKSFD

shipper behavior

if you aren't comfortable with rps i'm probably not the best people to interact with!! i do believe stuff should be kept in fandoms spaces and tagged properly so they couldn't see it unless they actively search for it.

with that being said, i only ship within nct in kpop. i really like markhyuck (mark/haechan) and jaemle (jaemin/chenle) but tbh i like everything with chenle on it!

for non kpop, i've been enjoying ivessel (sleep token), stolitz (helluva boss) and hollanov (heated rivalry)!

my fandoms

super junior
2011 - 2013

sj wasn't the group that introduced me to kpop, but they were the first group i truly became a fan of! donghae was my bias and i since i was young (freshly 12), i mainly enjoyed listening to their songs on youtube and watching theirs variety shows i found on tumblr. i pretty much stanned them until bts debuted. nowadays, i don't care about any of the members or the group in general, but i still have fond memories of that time in my life – they were part of many of my first experiences as a fan: first group, concert, album purchased, fan event attended etc. they have a lot of good old songs though!

bts
2013 - 2019

i was quite young when bts debuted and i was fascinated by their lyrics and how fierce they were (i used to like b.a.p so i obviously got into them as well). i've never been able to fully give my energy to a lot of things at once, so being an army consumed my life as a fan. i bought every piece of merch they released and attended all their leg tours in brazil. like as many older fans, i wasn't enjoying their focus on the american market, so i just... stop listening to them? their fandom being awful made a major point in my decision as well. nowadays, i only listen to their older songs if i do, and while i still like jungkook, it's not the same as before, obviously. i cherish the time i was a fan, as i essentially grew up with them, it's just not the same now, and that's okay.

nct
2018 - currently

to be honest, i was a chenle solo stan back in 2017, but i decided to fully give in when they released empathy - the concept was so cool that it was hard not to. everything with nct happened very naturally, before i knew it, they were the group i reached out more. as for the units, dream is my favorite, but i enjoy the others as well! they are the main discography that i listen to, and i wish i could see them as often as fans from around the world do. nct has brought me so much happiness and friendships that i really adore. they are my group fr.

sleep token
2025 - currently

while doomscrolling on tiktok, a video of vessel playing with their security during aqua regia caught my attention because of his voice. the rest is history: i researched about the band and started listening to them. right now, it's been really refreshing to like something new! their anonymity makes things fun, specially all the theories about the band lore. hopefully they will come to brazil.. some day..... please..
